Many parents and carers are entitled to help to meet the costs of sending your child to school. If you receive Child Tax Credit, Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance you should apply for a Free School Meal and/or a Child Clothing Grant.

Education Maintenance Allowance Students who have reached the statutory school leaving age of 16 may be eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) to allow them to remain at school.
In session 2019-2020 students who are born before 1 March 2004 will be eligible to apply for an EMA.
